South Knoxville Alliance seeks to recognize local South Knoxville Businesses and or Organizations that are interested in the 2017 Spring Spruce-up of our area. All local Businesses and or Organizations are welcome to apply. The contest will be during the month of April 2017.

  1. Application must be completed online and submitted prior to deadline which is April 15th, 2017. You do not need to be a member of SKA to enter this contest.
  2. All participating businesses/organizations must provide a clear 'before' picture(s) of the area they will improve.
  3. A picture of the same area, from the same location and time of day, must be submitted after completion of the undertaking which could include; painting; remodeling;
  4. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a frameable certification and a picture of their business and a write-up supplied by the business in the Herald Newspaper and possibly other publications. Certificates will be presented by Bill Lenczynski, chair of the South Knoxville Alliance.
  5. All photos must be submitted online on or before the 1st of May, 2017.
  6. Announcement of the winners will be publicized in the Herald Newspapers in the May 11th issue.
  7. Judging will be made by independant judges.
